Lambda Cyhalothrin 2.5% EC is a quick-action foliar insecticide used to control insect pests on vegetables, fruit plants, flowers, roses, ornamentals, lawns, outdoor pots, and garden plants. It works mainly through contact and stomach action, making it useful when insects are actively feeding on leaves, shoots, flowers, or plant surfaces.

It is used for common chewing and sucking pest problems such as caterpillars, borers, leaf folders, hoppers, jassids, thrips, whiteflies, aphids, and similar garden pests. Use it when you notice leaf holes, folded leaves, chewed edges, damaged shoots, insects under leaves, or pest activity spreading across plants.

Benefits

  • Quick action: Helps reduce active insects on plant surfaces
  • Contact control: Works when spray reaches affected plant areas
  • Stomach action: Useful against insects feeding on treated leaves and shoots
  • Broad use: Suitable for vegetables, fruit plants, flowers and ornamentals

How to Use Lambda Cyhalothrin 2.5% EC

Foliar Spray

  • Mix 1 ml in 1 litre of water for general home garden use.
  • For stronger pest pressure, use up to 1.5 ml in 1 litre of water only when needed.
  • Spray evenly on affected leaves, stems, shoots, and plant surfaces.
  • Cover the lower side of leaves where insects often hide.
  • Spray in the early morning or evening.
  • Repeat after 7–10 days only if pest activity continues.
  • Avoid spraying open flowers or plants being visited by bees.

Best For

  • Leaf-eating caterpillars and chewing insects
  • Borers and leaf folders on vegetables and garden plants
  • Hoppers and jassids on soft plant growth
  • Thrips, whiteflies, and aphids on leaves and shoots
  • Leaf holes, folded leaves, chewed edges, and damaged new growth
  • Pest attack on vegetables, roses, flowers, lawns, and ornamentals

Important Precautions

Avoid spraying during hot sun, high heat, strong wind, or plant stress. Wear gloves and avoid breathing spray mist. Do not mix with other products unless compatibility is known.

For edible plants, keep a 7–14-day gap before harvest and wash produce thoroughly before use. Lambda Cyhalothrin can harm bees, fish, and beneficial insects, so avoid spraying open flowers, water areas, or places where bees are active.
