Sulphur 80% WDG is used for fungal disease control, mite control, and alkaline soil pH correction. It helps control common plant problems like powdery mildew, rust, scab, leaf spots, and mites on vegetables, fruit plants, flowers, ornamentals, outdoor garden plants, and indoor plants.

It can also be used to support gradual pH reduction in alkaline soil. In high-pH soil, sulphur slowly helps lower soil pH, which may improve nutrient availability and make it easier for plants to absorb essential nutrients.

Benefits

  • Fungicide & Miticide: Helps control powdery mildew, rust-like marks, scab, early leaf spots, and mites on leaves, stems, undersides, and soft new growth.
  • Indoor & outdoor: Suitable for houseplants, vegetables, fruits, flowers, and ornamentals
  • pH lowering: Helps gradually reduce high pH in alkaline soil

How to Use Sulphur 80% WDG

For Fungicide Spray

  • Mix 2–3 grams in 1 litre of water.
  • Spray evenly on affected leaves, stems, and plant surfaces.
  • Cover both upper and lower leaf surfaces where possible.
  • Repeat after 7–10 days if the problem continues.

For Mite Control

  • Mix 3 grams in 1 litre of water.
  • Spray leaf undersides, tender shoots, and affected areas where mites are active.
  • Repeat after 7–10 days if mites are still visible.
  • Avoid spraying weak, heat-stressed, or very sensitive plants.

For Indoor Plants

  • Mix 1–2 grams in 1 litre of water for a lighter indoor spray.
  • Move indoor plants to a shaded balcony or airy outdoor spot before spraying.
  • Spray only affected leaves, not the whole plant as a routine mist.
  • Let the leaves dry fully before bringing the plant back indoors.
  • Test on a few leaves first, especially on delicate houseplants.

For Alkaline Soil pH Correction

  • Use only when soil pH is high and gradual pH reduction is needed.
  • For a 10-inch pot, start with 1–2g only when soil pH is high.
  • Mix lightly into the topsoil and water after application.
  • Avoid repeated use without checking pH, especially in pots.

Best For

  • Powdery white growth on leaves and stems
  • Rust-like marks, scab, and early leaf spots
  • Mites under leaves or on tender growth
  • Indoor plants with fungal spots or mite problems
  • Vegetables, fruit plants, flowers, and ornamentals
  • Alkaline soil that needs gradual pH reduction

Important Precautions

Avoid spraying during hot sun, high temperatures, or plant stress. Do not mix with neem oil or other oil-based plant sprays. For edible plants, avoid spraying close to harvest. Keep a 7–14-day gap before harvesting, and wash vegetables, fruits, and herbs thoroughly before use.

FAQs

Can I use Sulphur 80% WDG on fruits and vegetables?
Yes, use it on affected fruit and vegetable plants when fungal disease or mites appear. Avoid spraying close to harvest and wash produce thoroughly before use.

Can I use sulphur after neem oil?
