Seaweed Powder Fertilizer is a water-soluble seaweed feed for home garden plants. It contains seaweed extract, organic matter, potassium, and trace nutrients that help plants grow new leaves and roots, flower well, develop fruit, and recover after transplanting, pruning, or hot weather.
It can be used for vegetables, herbs, flowers, fruit plants, indoor plants, lawns, pots, grow bags, and garden beds across Pakistan.
Key Benefits
- Promotes new leaves and shoots
- Helps roots grow stronger
- Encourages flowering and fruit development
- Helps plants recover after transplanting, pruning, or heat stress
- Mixes easily with water for leaf spray or soil application
How to Use
Mix 1 teaspoon of Seaweed Powder in 1 litre of water.
Use the same mixture for spraying the leaves or watering around the roots. For bigger plants, use more of the prepared mixture instead of adding extra powder.
Leaf Spray
- Mix 1 teaspoon in 1 litre of water.
- Spray a light, even layer over the leaves.
- Apply in the early morning or evening.
- Avoid strong midday sun, extreme heat, or rain.
- Repeat every 15–20 days.
The leaves only need to be lightly wet. There is no need to soak them.
Soil Application
Mix 1 teaspoon in 1 litre of water and pour the prepared mixture around the plant.
Use approximately:
- Pots up to 6 inches: 50–100 ml
- Pots 8–10 inches: 150–250 ml
- Pots 12–16 inches: 300–500 ml
- Large grow bags: 500 ml–1 litre
- Fruit plants: 1–2 litres for young plants and 2–4 litres for larger, established plants
For fruit plants growing in the ground, spread the mixture around the root area rather than pouring it directly next to the trunk.
Repeat every 15–20 days while plants are growing.
Where to Use
- Vegetables & Herbs: Tomato, chilli, capsicum, cucumber, brinjal, gourds, spinach, dhania, mint, basil, and other home garden plants

- Fruit Plants: Citrus, guava, papaya, pomegranate, dragon fruit, grapes, and other fruit plants
- Indoor Plants: Money plant, rubber plant, peace lily, snake plant, and other indoor plants
- Lawns: Apply the mixed solution evenly over the grass with a sprayer or watering can
When to Apply
- During new leaf and shoot growth
- After transplanting or pruning
- Before and during flowering
- While fruits are developing
- After plants have been stressed by hot weather
During Pakistan's hot weather, apply in the early morning or evening when the temperature is lower.
For Best Results
- Apply to slightly moist soil.
- If the soil is very dry, water the plant lightly first.
- Do not make a stronger mixture for weak or stressed plants.
Powder vs Granules
Seaweed Powder: Mix with water and use as a leaf spray or pour around the roots. It is easy to measure and apply when feeding individual plants.
Seaweed Granules: Add directly to the soil. They break down gradually as the plants are watered.
FAQs
Does Seaweed Powder replace regular fertilizer?
Not always. Seaweed Powder is mainly a plant booster. Depending on the plant, you may still need compost, vermicompost, or another suitable fertilizer for regular feeding.
Can I use it on young seedlings?
Yes, once the seedlings are established and growing well. Use a small amount of the prepared mixture so the soil does not become too wet.
Can I use it with another fertilizer?
Yes, both can be part of your plant-feeding routine. Avoid mixing different products together in the same container unless their labels say they can be mixed.
How should I store it?
Keep the pack tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight.
