Seaweed Liquid Fertilizer is a natural plant growth booster made from seaweed extract. Also known as liquid kelp, liquid kelp fertilizer, or seaweed extract for plants, it supports healthier roots, leafy growth, nutrient uptake, and plant recovery during active growing stages.

It can be used as both a root feed and foliar spray, making it useful for rooftop pots, balcony plants, kitchen gardens, vegetables, herbs, flowers, fruit plants, indoor plants, and lawns. In Pakistan’s hot weather, it is especially helpful for plants recovering from heat stress, transplant shock, weak growth, or irregular watering.

Unlike regular NPK fertilizers, seaweed liquid works more like a plant biostimulant . It contains natural bioactive compounds and trace nutrients that help plants use available nutrition more efficiently, especially when used with compost, vermicompost, or balanced fertilizer.

Can I spray seaweed fertilizer on leaves?

Yes, it can be used as a foliar spray when diluted correctly. Spray in the early morning or evening and avoid strong sunlight.

Does seaweed liquid fertilizer smell bad?

No, it usually has a mild seaweed scent. It should not smell strongly fishy or unpleasant when stored properly.

Can I use seaweed liquid fertilizer on indoor plants?

Yes, it is suitable for indoor plants when diluted properly. Use a light foliar spray or soil feed and avoid overwatering.

How often should I use seaweed liquid fertilizer?

Use every 2–3 weeks as a soil feed or every 10–15 days as a foliar spray during active growth. Reduce use during slow growth or extreme heat.
