FAQs – 200 Cell Nursery Tray
Can I fill it with bhal mitti or regular garden soil?
It’s not recommended — heavy soil holds too much water. Use a seed starter mix or cocopeat blend for better germination.
Should I water from the top or bottom?
Bottom watering is cleaner and avoids disturbing delicate seeds or causing rot.
Can I place this tray in full sunlight?
Not during germination. Keep trays in filtered light or partial shade until seedlings grow stronger.
When is the right time to transplant seedlings?
Wait until plants have 2–3 proper leaves and firm roots. Then lift them gently from below.
How many times can I reuse this tray?
With careful use, it lasts for several seasons. Wash, dry, and avoid bending when storing.
This seed starting tray is ideal for compact home nurseries, balcony gardens, or rooftop setups. Whether you're growing in a vegetable nursery tray, setting up a plastic seedling tray for tomatoes or herbs, or planning seasonal flower seedlings, this tray offers a practical and efficient way to manage large batches with ease.
