Morning Glory (Blue Picotee), also known as Picotee Morning GloryIvy-leaf Morning Glory, or Japanese Morning Glory, produces large, trumpet-shaped blue flowers with a star-like centre and crisp white edges that usually open in the morning. It grows well in warm weather, prefers full sunlight, and is suitable for 8-12 inch pots, garden beds, balcony grills, fences, trellises, and other vertical supports where its fast-growing climbing vines can spread beautifully.

Native to tropical America and later developed through Japanese ornamental selections, it became popular worldwide for its striking blue-and-white blooms, quick coverage, and ability to brighten walls, railings, and outdoor spaces.

💐 Growing Guide

  1. Sowing:
    1. Setup: Use a seed-starting tray or small pots with seed-starting mix.
    2. Sow: Place seeds on the surface, press lightly, space 1 inch apart.
    3. Transplant: Move seedlings to separate pots when they have 2-3 true leaves.
  2. Watering: Keep soil moist but not soggy. Water gently to avoid disturbing seeds.
  3. Sunlight: Provide as much direct sunlight as possible for optimal growth.
