It has deeply serrated leaves, tender stems, and a mild peppery mustard-like taste that works well in salads, sandwiches, stir-fries, soups, and mixed greens. Mizuna is closely linked with East Asian cooking and has been cultivated in Japan for centuries, where its name is often understood as “water greens.”

1. Sowing:
   1. Setup: Use a seed-starting tray or small pots with seed-starting mix.
   2. Sow: Place seeds on the surface, press lightly, space 1 inch apart.
