Lawnstar Lawn Weed Killer | Ethoxysulfuron 60%

Lawnstar is a selective weed killer for Deela / nutgrass, other sedges, and broadleaf weeds growing in lawns. It contains Ethoxysulfuron and is especially useful for stubborn Deela that often grows back after hand pulling.

The weed absorbs Lawnstar through its leaves. Growth slows down first, then the weed gradually turns yellow and dries.

Suitable for home lawns, turf areas, and playground grass.

How to Use

Mix 0.2 gram of Lawnstar per 1 litre of water.

Examples:

• 1 litre water: 0.2 gram Lawnstar
• 10 litres water: 2 grams Lawnstar
• 100 litres water: 20 grams Lawnstar

For 0.2 gram, use a small digital scale because this amount is difficult to measure accurately with a spoon.

1. Partly fill the sprayer with clean water.
2. Add the measured Lawnstar.
3. Add the remaining water and mix well.
4. Spray evenly over the weed leaves.

Use the recommended dose. Adding extra Lawnstar will not make it work faster.

Best Time & Tips

Spray when weeds are green and actively growing. Younger weeds are usually easier to control.

Early morning or late afternoon is best, especially during hot weather in Pakistan.

For better results:

• Avoid spraying during strong heat or wind
• Do not spray just before rain or watering
• Do not mow, cut, or pull the weeds just before spraying
• Leave enough green leaves for the spray to be absorbed
• Avoid mowing immediately after spraying
• Watch for fresh Deela shoots over the following weeks
• Improve drainage where Deela keeps returning

Deela grows from underground tubers, so fresh shoots can sometimes appear after the first treatment.

Results & Repeat

Lawnstar works gradually. Weed growth usually starts slowing within the first few days.

Yellowing and weakening can become visible in about 7 to 10 days, with stronger results usually taking around 2 to 3 weeks.

Wait 2 to 3 weeks before repeating the treatment. Spray again at the same dose only if the target weeds are still growing or fresh Deela shoots appear.

Stop once the weeds have stopped growing and are clearly yellowing, drying, or dying.

If there is little or no improvement after two properly applied treatments, check the weed type before spraying again. It may be a grassy weed or another weed that Lawnstar does not control well.

Safety

Keep Lawnstar away from flowers, vegetables, fruit plants, shrubs, and ornamental plants. Spray carefully around lawn edges so the mist does not reach nearby plants.

If you are using Lawnstar on your lawn grass for the first time, test it on a small area first.

Keep away from children and pets, and wear gloves and a mask while mixing and spraying.
