How to Sow

Direct sow about 1 inch (2.5 cm) deep in rows 12 inches apart. Place seed clusters around 4 inches apart, cover and water gently. A cluster may produce several seedlings; thin these to one strong plant every 4 inches when growing full-size roots. Keep moisture even while seedlings establish.
