How to Sow
- Soak the seeds overnight in lukewarm water, then drain.

- Remove the cover when seedlings appear and keep the mix lightly moist.

Plant Care
Water when the upper layer of the mix begins drying, keeping the roots evenly moist during active growth. Trim stretched stems lightly if a fuller shape is wanted. Repot when roots begin filling the container or growing through its drainage holes.
Mix a small amount of Vermicompost into the final potting mix. Check for aphids and spider mites, especially during hot, dry weather. If pests appear, apply Neem Oil at its labelled dilution during the cooler part of the day.

No. These seeds produce Mimosa pudica, whose leaves fold when touched. Balsam is a different plant that also carries the name Touch Me Not because its ripe seed pods burst open.
Can I grow it indoors?
Yes, beside a bright window with some direct morning sunlight. A dim room can produce weak, stretched stems. Keep the plant away from cold air-conditioning draughts.
Why are my seedlings collapsing at soil level?
A thin, dark or soft stem base can indicate damping off. Remove affected seedlings, improve ventilation and avoid keeping the mix saturated. Use clean pots and fresh seed starter mix for the next sowing.
